We are excited to have Nicola Ross, a well known author, environmentalist and adventurer, as our speaker on Tuesday, March 31st. Her Loop and Lattes hiking guides are very popular and cover many regions of Southern Ontario including Caledon, Dufferin and Halton. (Several of her guides have had input from some of our Headwaters Nature members!)
Nicola is also a regular contributor to In the Hills magazine where she has contributed over 150 articles on topics such as environmental issues, profiles of local artisans and celebrities and of course outdoor recreation.
At our meeting Nicola will be talking about the Credit River, threats facing the river and the important role trails can play in saving a watershed.
